Social Media Pack – Twitter Plugin with OAUTH
Welcome to the Social Media Pack plugin for Twitter
This is our first custom written plugin release for the whole world to use.
The plugin cross posts your blog entries to Twitter, we use OAUTH as we are led to believe that this is 1) The safest way to transmit data to Twitter and 2) It will soon be the “only” way of transmitting data to Twitter.
The Plugin is simple, it sends the Heading, some of the Body and a is.gd shortened link back to the original blog post.
At the moment, it sends the code as WordPress HTML, I intend on making some changes to the code to stop this happening shortly.
A couple of requests, if you would like to remove the “via Social Media Pack” link in Twitter, please email me first, and a small donation would be absolutely lovely.
As every, we can offer no warranty on the software, but we use it and find it works nicely.
